The Crawl-A-Thon organised by Hope started at around 12:15 P.M. in the afternoon on Dec. 3rd,
2005 at Washington Sq. Park in Manhattan, New York.  People started gathering at the park at
around 10:00 A.M.  It was very cold and windy.

After arrival, the the crawling team stitched Crawl-A-Thon patch with Hope logo on the back of each
crawlers and the volunteers.  They also stitched The Crawlers logo on the legs of the crawlers.
After warm up exercise, the crawlers crawled around the perimeter of the park which is about half a
mile long.  Volunteers handed out fliers and collected donations from spectators around the park.

A lot of people asked questions about the crawl.   Some of them even seemed confused.

After two rounds, they decided to end the crawl, since it was very cold and not all the crawlers were
trained.  All the crawlers liked the crawl very much.  They said that it was a lot of fun.

After finishing the crawl, everyone went home to get ready for the second half of the event of 'Hope'.
They came back to attend the program at 40 Washington Sq. South at around 6:30 P.M.  After
some light snack, the evening program started at around 8:30 P.M.  The program was a huge
success.  Rajeev Goyal the founder of Hope was amazing in his presentation.  He managed to
enchant the audience with his past and current work in Nepal.

The Program ended at around 12:15 A.M.

Overall, the whole event organised by 'Hope' was a grand success.
